Vince Hazel started racing in 1961 at local tracks throughout Nova Scotia and News Brunswick. He started racing with every day cars such as a 55 Oldsmobile and a 57 Ford. Over the years, he owned several cars including a 67 Camero, 55 Chev gasser, 72 Celica modified compact, a 72 Cuda 340 J/SA, 72 Duster E/SA, 65 Dodge Station Wagon U/SA , 80 Pontiac Phonix D/FSA, 84 Camaro W/S and 3 Dragsters.

Hazel set several National records and competed in the quarter finals in Saniar, Englishtown and the Keystones.

    So many great memories of Vince at various dragstrips in Maine & Canada. He’s a fine example of good sportsmanship.
