Powered by the John Scotti Canadian Championship Series, this year’s

schedule brings together the best racers in the country across East and

West divisions, all chasing Cash, Wallys, Points, Pride, and National

recognition.

The Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame celebrates the legends who fuel Canada’s passion for speed and excellence on the strip.

The Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame is a registered non-profit organization whose mission is to recognize the extraordinary achievements and contributions of Canadians to the sport of drag racing.

It pays tribute to world-class Canadian drag racing legends from ‘on’ and ‘off’ the track at an annual Gala and by collecting and preserving a permanent exhibit of memorabilia, artifacts and equipment in a dedicated museum in Montreal, Quebec.

During the Gala, inductees are honoured by their peers, family and friends. They are presented with a custom tailored ‘Blue Blazer’ bearing the Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame logo and a personalized Hall of Fame ring. Extensive media outreach in Canada and the US is also conducted to garner exposure for these noteworthy sportsmen.

Our Founder & Chairman - John Scotti

The Canadian Drag Racing Hall Of Fame was founded by John Scotti, a prominent figure in Montreal motorsports.

Mr. Scotti has been passionate about the sport since he was 16, working as a mechanic for his mentor John Dingman who was one of the leading mechanics for performance racing engines. This led Scotti to pursue a career in the automotive industry of which he has become an icon.

Drag racing became an obsession, and 25 years ago he hit a record time of 8.08 seconds on the ¼ mile with his dragster. In 2012, after learning that John Dingman had passed away, John Scotti set out to create the Hall of Fame to honour the men and women of the sport he loved.

Our Director - Bob Aubertin

Bob Aubertin has a long term goal for the growth of the sport of drag racing in Canada and is working tirelessly to achieve it.  Mr. Aubertin’s vision for the Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame is to ensure that the Canadian pioneers and legends of drag racing are recognized for their past achievements in Canada and elsewhere.

His passion for drag racing has spanned more than 50 years, as past President of the South Super Snakes Ford Drag Club, one of the largest drag racing clubs in Canada, as an amateur drag racer in Le Club LaSalle 7000, as a track announcer at Napierville Dragway, Quebec Dragway and Sanair in the sixties, seventies and eighties.  Mr. Aubertin was also an NHRA major event announcer and was also Division 1 Director for UBRA in Canada.

Mr. Aubertin will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Hall of Fame and museum.
