Rob Atchison is a Canadian drag racing icon. He embarked on his illustrious career in 1994 with the family business, Atchison Machine Service. Teaming up with his father, Bob, Rob ventured into drag racing at 19, quickly becoming a force in the sport.

Over 25 years, he achieved remarkable feats, becoming the winningest Canadian driver in IHRA history. Rob and his team competed in the IHRA Alcohol Funny Car class from 1999-2008 where he secured 3 consecutive IHRA Alcohol Funny Car Championships from 2003 to 2005 and won 21 National Events.

His achievements include setting records, earning the title of 2003 IHRA Pro Driver of the Year, and being named the 2005 Canadian Drag Racer of the Year. Notably, he was the first IHRA Alcohol Funny Car driver to run a 5.6-second Elapsed Time. After a storied career, he retired in 2023, leaving behind a legacy of speed and success in the world of drag racing.
