With over 500,000 images, numerous stories, and many publications on file, including a Wheelspin news collection, Bill Richards played a prominent role in the history of Canadian Drag Racing. Bill Richards volunteered for over a decade with the DSE Sportsman Series, and later, with the Race Cayuga Sportsman Series. He was a partner with Rob Potter on the Dragway Memories show, found on Youtube and Facebook. Bill Richards worked as an official announcer of the NDRA, the TNT Super Series, and the NAPA Ultimate Showdown series. Additionally, he was a volunteer announcer for the CanAm Stock Superstock Series, as well as at Toronto Motorsports Park, Grand Bend Motorplex, St. Thomas Dragway, Lebanon Valley Dragway, and Memphis International Dragway. Bill Richards was the Master of Ceremonies for the Drag Racing Night of Champions at the Motorama Car Shows, as well as an announcer for the 660 Sportsman National Events at Grand Bend.
