About

Guy Desjardins' enthusiasm for drag racing began around 1968, when he was a spectator at local and then international tracks through his travels. This allowed him to become familiar with the rules of drag racing, to acquire various knowledge on the subject and to discuss the subject that would become his passion.

At the end of 1971, Guy Desjardins acquired a Camaro SS/IA 396-325 from Lance Hill and sold it at the end of 1976.

Never having lost his taste for acceleration, he bought, in December 1990, the 1967 Camaro 396-325 that he still owns. He modified it over the years, in order to run SS/GA, SS/FA and SS/EA, which contributed to his success.

Since 2001, with the help of John and Allyn Armstrong, Guy Desjardins has improved his "Engine program" which allowed him to establish Time & Speed ​​records in 2005, 2012, 2014, 2015, and recently, in 2016 (NHRA Super Stock).
