(hometown: Toronto, Ontario) Bob McJannett is the co-founder of Performance Improvements Speed Shops Ltd, partnering with his late wife, Susan, to launch the Ontario-based enterprise in 1964. The company continues to operate to this day, under the direction of their sons, Rob, and Andy.
Bob is a member of the SEMA Hall of Fame, one of a select group of Canadian inductees. He has been recognized many times by his peers with awards of distinction in the performance aftermarket. With PI Sponsorship, a host of drag racers have been able to compete in local and North American competitions at a high level. In addition, for almost 60 years, Performance Improvements has supported drag strips and racing series in Ontario and Quebec through advertising and contingencies.
